Pastor Troy Garner
Pastor Troy L. Garner is the founding Pastor of the Fellowship of Faith Church. He is a student of preaching, and a student of the word. He grew up in Huntsville, Alabama where he was saved at the age of 10 and called to preach at the age of 18. Pastor Troy studied at the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical studies in 1996. He received his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky. Presently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from the Birmingham Theological Seminary in Birmingham, Alabama. He desires to be a great preacher/teacher of the word. Pastor Troy has been preaching since 1987 and has been a pastor at churches in Mobile and Athens before founding The Fellowship of Faith in Huntsville in November of 2003 where God is doing a great work..
Pastor Troy is married to Kimberly Garner. She assists her husband with daily operation of the Fellowship of Faith. Lady Kim was the former Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Tory Michelle Garner.
Pastor Troy is an avid sports fan. He is the Chaplain of the Alabama A&M University basketball & football teams. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of the 100 Black Men, an alumnus of Huntsville Madison County Leadership and a board member for the Harvest Boys and Girls Club.
Lady Kim Garner
Lady Kimberly Michelle Fields Garner is the daughter of Elder Nathan and Clara Fields. She is happily married to Pastor Troy Garner and they have one beautiful daughter, Tory Michelle Garner.
After, graduating from Butler High School in 1990, Lady Kim went on to Alabama A&M University where she majored in Elementary Education. She graduated with honors in 1994 and in 1996 with a B.S. and Masters. While attending AAMU, Lady Kim was a member of many organizations and had the pleasure of being Miss Alabama A&M University. Upon graduating, Kim taught 3rd grade at Hazel Green Elementary School for 9 years.
Soon thereafter, Lady Kim enrolled at the University of Alabama where she received two degrees with honors in School Counseling and School Administration. Lady Kim was the counselor at Riverton Elementary School and the Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School.
Presently, Lady Kim works along side her husband daily at The Fellowship of Faith Church. She also teaches music at TFOFChurch Child Development Center. In August 2017 Kim preached her 1st sermon.
